Job Description

Act as designer on complex or challenging technical problems. Design BLDC motor control drives used in servo applications. Circuit design experience with PWM drives used for motors with voltages >130 VDC and up to 90 Amps. Design experience with position feedback and measurement systems. Design experience with servo control systems. Create analytical models (SPICE, MAST, VHDL-AMS, MATLAB, Mathcad, Excel, etc.) which prove compliance to performance specifications. Direct printed circuit layout of high speed designs. Design control loops and analyze stability of linear control systems. Serve as “Responsible Engineering Authority” (REA) for complex circuit card assembly design efforts.

Must have professional experience with thermal concerns of electronics. Generate and/or compile all required analysis and documentation verifying compliance with program and performance requirements. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Experience creating and giving complex technical presentations. Must be a self-starter, a quick learner, and be able to function in a dynamic environment, and have good time management skills

Should have professional design, analysis, and test experience with analog electronic design and analysis, including FET, BJT, and Op-amp circuits. Should have professional design, analysis, and test experience with linear converters, and any two of the following non-isolated converter topologies: buck, boost, buck-boost. Should have professional experience with guiding ECAD engineers through layout and route.
